South Branch Inn is an independent family-owned operation nestled in the serene South Branch Valley, in West Virginia's eastern panhandle.
Our locations in Moorefield and Romney, WV have been serving the area for 26 years. Located just 2 hours from Washington DC, and 3 hours from Baltimore, our hotels offer the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts, weekend warriors, and families looking for the perfect getaway.

The South Branch Inn offers comfortable standard, deluxe, and suite rooms to accommodate our guests. Our location in Moorefield offers 100 guest rooms, and our location in Romney offers 61 guest rooms. Our friendly front desk staff are more than happy to accommodate guests with special requests (e.g., ground floors, joined rooms, etc.) when possible.

We also have a gift shop at both locations that boasts a plethora of WV-themed items such as books, handmade local artisan products, apparel, and locally sourced honey, syrup, sauces, jellies, and more.
Both hotels have large and small conference room packages that are available to reserve; these are perfect for corporate gatherings, vendor fairs, seminars, family events, and parties such as bridal or baby showers. We have been proud to host many local functions at the hotel and look forward to continuing to offer this to the community.
